We told you about Alexa for PC at CES earlier this year. This is Lenovo’s third laptop to offer the integration of Alexa and it seems to be a feature that will be coming to all of their new laptops. Here are some of the highlights of the new Yoga 720
- Alexa assistant built-in with a far-field microphone
- 4K IPS touchscreen
- 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor
- Up to 1 TB PCIe SSD storage
To use the new Alexa feature the laptop will have to be open and logged in. But, this will still be a welcome feature to control smart devices around the house. Lenovo claims the far-field microphone will be able to hear you from up to 4 meters away. So you should be able to yell at Alexa from across the room with no problems.
The 13″ or 15″ in either Grey or Silver will be available starting in April 2018.
Lenovo also announced the updated Flex 14, the successor to the Flex 5. Their somewhat budget version of the Yoga line with prices starting at around $600. Also, available in April.
