The current generation Echo Dot is almost two years old. It still sports the design of the original Amazon Echo. Either glossy black or white hockey puck with 4 buttons on top. Plus, the signature round LED light. The new Echo Dot in the pictures below look closer to the current Amazon Echo.
The new Echo Dot has the same round hockey puck shape. Although, this one looks to be slightly bigger than the current. Also, the same 4 buttons on top. But, these are wrapped in fabric just like the current generation Echo.
Obviously, there’s no word on pricing yet and Amazon usually hosts an event in September. So, we expect more details at that time.
